Job Description
<p>The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife is seeking an experienced Fish Hatchery Manager to oversee operations at our state-of-the-art salmon hatchery facility.</p>
<p>You will manage a team of technicians, coordinate breeding programs, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.</p>
<p><strong>Facility Overview:</strong></p>
<p>Our facility produces over 2 million Chinook and Coho salmon annually for tribal, commercial, and recreational fisheries.</p>
Requirements
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Fisheries, Aquaculture, or related field</li>
<li>5+ years of hatchery experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role</li>
<li>Knowledge of salmon life history and culture techniques</li>
<li>Experience with fish health management and disease prevention</li>
<li>Strong leadership and team management skills</li>
<li>Ability to work flexible hours during spawning season</li>
